II FYC Championship

In December 17-20, 2015 we made history by organizing the second annual song contest of Discontinuo Spanish Song Canaries. The best singers competed for the honor of winning the II FYC trophy. We had breeders from all over the United States, meeting in one place to decide which one is the best of the best. We had the honor to meet many of the families of our members as many of the members came with their wifes and kids. It was a really good experience, and especially for the kids that enjoy watching and listening to the birds.


90 points bird from Mauricio Moreira, first Discontinuo of 90 points in the United States!!!



Congratulation to the winners Mauricio Moreira and Robinson Grullon, and to all the participants that worked hard to make it to our show. This year (2015), we broke another record. Thanks to the work and dedication of Mauricio Moreira, we had the first ever Discontinuo Canary with 90 points in the United States. This is an achievement worth of celebrating, given the corrupt and inflated evaluation, that is becoming the norm in many canary shows, here in the United States as well as in Europe.

Fortunately for our club, we bring one of the most strict, discipline, and honest judge from Spain, Mr. Jose Manuel Gomez Gonzalez.
We don't believe in free lunch. Congratulation once again to Mr. Mauricio Moreira for braking another record with his 90 points birds, the first Ever!! 90 points bird in the whole United States!!!

Thanks to the staff from the Crowne Plaza Hotel for their assistance in setting up the meeting room, the bird room, and the judging room. Everything was perfect. Thank you.


Special thanks to the judge Jose Manuel Gomez Gonzalez for becoming an integral part of this project. His technical seminar was one of the best part of the event which we hope to repeat in future events.
